The Cup, Scrape, Tape conference aims to bring together leading experts, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of manual therapy. This in person conference will delve into the latest research, techniques, and applications of cupping therapy, scraping, and taping methods, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of these therapeutic modalities and their impact on overall well-being.

Essentials of Taping: Unlocking the Basics for Effective Therapeutic Application with Brad Norris
This presentation is an evidence-informed kinesiology tape session that will advance the therapist’s understanding of the science and efficacy of the applications of kinesiology tape as both a performance and rehabilitation tool that can serve to mitigate pain, improve fluid dynamics and sharpen proprioception. Participants will be exposed to basic taping techniques targeted at optimizing movement and enhancing patient outcomes.

Performance Taping and Floss Essentials : An Exploration of Basic and Advanced Taping and Floss Band Applications to Enhance Performance with Brad Norris
The session will investigate the use of advanced kinesiology tape applications and adjunct floss band strategies that can serve to regulate motor control, enhance mobility and optimize performance. Advanced applications will include postural, pregnancy, diaphragmatic and fascial chain tape applications that can improve patient outcomes across every population. The presentation will also delve into the science and use of compression floss bands as a complement to kinesiology tape to improve mobility and functional control.

Clinical Cupping Essentials with Paul Kohlmeier
This 4-hour course focuses on the essential knowledge and skills that massage and manual therapists need in order to clearly decide when to use cupping and how to use it safely within their practice. We will go over indications, contraindications, reprocessing and infection control, techniques and treatment principles, and then put them into practice during the practical portions of the class.

Cupping for Healthcare Professionals: Advanced Clinical Applications with Paul Kohlmeier
This 4-hour class we will delve into treating conditions, and using some more advanced techniques that may require a bit more finesse. We will explore cupping with movement, learn about strategies for dealing with clients who are recovering from injury. We will also look at scar tissue treatments – looking at the indications, contraindications and techniques used.
